All aboard for light rail in Fremantle, Cockburn and Murdoch

This is how we could be getting to and from work, university or the shops in the near future thanks to a plan by the Greens to introduce more light rail systems to cities aorund Australia.

Pictured, you see Fremantle Mayor Brad Pettitt, South Metro MLC Lynn MacLaren, Senator Scott Ludlam and Fremantle candidate Kate Davis, who are already on board with plans to build Freo-Cockburn Central and Freo-Murdoch light rail links.

In the next few weeks, the Greens will be holding information sessions around Perth to tell people about the social, environmental and financial benefits of light rail.
