Energy ratings for houses

The Greens (WA) believe that housing should be economically, environmentally and socially sustainable. There should be a reduction in the total environmental impact of housing, during construction, throughout the life of the building and in demolition and rebuilding. Read more »

Greens Seek A Fair Go for Retirees

The Greens will move today to limit the time period on recurrent charges for people who have moved out of retirement villages during debate on the Retirement Villages Bill in the Upper House.

“There is no justification for these unfair charges on former residents who have moved out of retirement villages before this Act,” said Hon Lynn MacLaren MLC, Greens spokesperson on Housing and Seniors.

Greens Applaud Sustainable Spearwood House

Greens Senators Christine Milne and Scott Ludlam and South Metro MLC Lynn MacLaren enjoyed a personal tour of one of the innovative new prefab houses by engineer Bill McLarty Thursday.
