Crabs, choirs and electric cars at the 2010 Hulbert Street Fiesta
Now in its third year, the 2010 Hulbert Street Sustainability Fiesta was, once again, a huge success. Lynn was there along with thousands of other people over two beautiful spring days to enjoy the music, food and entertainment on offer.
Highlights included Peter with his newly converted electric car. The BMW was converted by the Perth Electric Vehicle Shop.
Local choirs also made an impression, and of course there were the usual array of stalls from local people and businesses showing how they are doing their bit for sustainability.
Kids were well catered for as well with lots of entertainment, Cake Club Children’s workshop and home-made lemonade.
There also were plenty of speakers on hand to give you their tips on how to grow your own fruit and vegetables and how to 'Love Your Chooks'.
Lynn had a great day and congratulates all the volunteers for all their hard work and passion.
