Lynn joins rally at Cockburn Cement
Lynn joined hundreds of fuming residents in a heated rally outside the gates of Cockburn Cement last Saturday.
Residents with homemade placards and in costume protested outside the plant for more than an hour.
Lynn is calling for the installation of more modern filtration systems at the plant. This would reduce the levels of particulate pollution dramatically.
The residents intend to take part in another rally at Parliament House, at 9.30am on April 14.
