"Plastic Shores", a documentary about the effects of plastic debris on our marine ecosystem

Perth Advocates for the Earth are proud to present “Plastic Shores”, a documentary about the effects of plastic debris on our marine ecosystem. The film aims to make us think about our use of disposable plastics and what happens to them after they are thrown away.

Special Guest: Paul Sharp (founder Two Hands Project)
Paul has just returned from an expedition to the North Pacific studying tsunami debris and plastic pollution in the North Pacific Gyre. He will talk about the expedition and show samples of micro-plastics and larger objects from the gyre. Two Hands Project advocates eliminating disposable design and promotes smart design and legislative solutions to plastic pollution.
